Samyuktha Venkatachalam established House of Chase in 2014 in Chennai. She has Bachelors in commerce from Stella Maris and is keen design enthusiast. As a young designer this is her initiation into the Indian Design scene and a worthy contribution to the diversity of the creative industry. In the pursuit of innovation, a designer was born.
Now the waiting is over, with a Grand opening of her new Flagship Store “House of Chase” at No22, Bawa Road, Alwarpet, Chennai 600018. House of Chase featured an intimate showing of Pre-Winter 2015 women wear collection through a fashion show choreographed by Prajanya Anand.
The collection was inspired by the concrete jungles of the world. The silhouettes of the dresses and skirts were complimenting the natural curves of every women. The prints and patterns have a very urban vibe, perfect for the modern adventure seeker.
The fabrics they use at House of Chase are Single Jersey, Poly cotton, Poly Rayon, Pique, Velour and fleece. Their fabrics undergo a fabric test (FPT) for color fastness, yarn quality, strength and piling before they produce a garment. The new colors for the pre-winter collection include Lavender, Turquoise blue, wine, grey, navy, mint green, purple, and shades of pink.
