Chennai, March 2016

People For Cattle in India (PFCI), a NGO formed by the Animal Lovers to promote Animal Welfare and prevent any form of Animal Cruelty in India, launched the Water Bowl Challenge on 13th March 2016 at Heart2Heart Veterinary Hospital Santhome, to quench the thirst of animals as thousands of birds and animals flake out and die as they are devoid of proper access of water.

The intent of Water Bowl Challenge is to encourage people to place water bowls in their houses, terrace, balcony, garden, office, streets and wherever else possible in order to help the birds and animals quench their thirst anytime they need. To take up the water bowl challenge, one has to collect their water bowl, click a picture with an animal or bird drinking water from the bowl they had collected and post it on PFCI's Social Media Page. The best photo will stand to win a prize, which will be announced on April 15.
